Questions we get every week
If yours is not here, call and ask. The phone reaches the person who owns the truck.
- Do you handle partial loads or only full truckloads?
- Both. Take the whole 26-foot box truck as a dedicated load, or pay only for the space you use on a scheduled route.
- Do you offer refrigerated freight?
- Yes. One of our two trucks is a 26-foot reefer that holds anywhere from -10°F to 70°F, for produce, dairy, frozen goods and anything else that cannot break the cold chain.
- How fast can I get a freight quote?
- In seconds. Enter the pickup, the delivery and the size of the load in our online quoting tool and the price appears immediately, with no phone call required.
- Is Golden Bear Freight a licensed carrier?
- Yes. We are an asset-based carrier with our own FMCSA operating authority: USDOT 4219637 and MC 1630774. We own the trucks and employ the drivers.
- How do I get proof of delivery?
- The driver captures the receiver signature and delivery photos on the phone. The signed proof of delivery reaches you the moment the load is delivered, not days later.
- Do you deliver to residential addresses or places without a dock?
- Yes. Both trucks have a liftgate, so we deliver to homes, small shops and job sites with no dock. Say so when you quote and it is included in the price.
- Do you work with freight brokers?
- Yes, brokers are a large part of our week. Ask for the carrier packet and you get authority, W-9, insurance and the signed agreement in one email.
- How far do you run from Seattle?
- About 500 miles. That covers Washington, Oregon and Idaho, plus the north of California and the west of Montana. Anything inside that circle is a same-week move.
Still deciding?
Price a real load and see the number. It takes less time than writing the email.
